The pictures of Saturn turned out quite similar to the previous night, still blurry. I was hoping the UV/IR cut filter would be a little magical fix, but anyway. My next plan going forward will be attempting to image Saturn when it is higher in the sky (less atmosphere to cut through), a calmer atmospheric night with less turbulence, and possibly buying a focuser for the Celestron telescope. This last one is important as I can only focus so well before I cannot discern a difference. Let me tell you, if the scope isn't focused really, really well, even if it looks good when imaging, it will not be enough once actually doing post-processing.
After I was done working with the large Schmidt-Cassegrain, I aligned my SeeStar S50 to the Celestial Sphere and set it up to do four different imaging runs over the entire night. I don't really have much more information to add besides the fact that it worked very well!!!
