Some Deep Space Objects

I have been very busy, so observations and writing reports have taken a bit of a backseat to more pressing matters. I did find some time to drag out a couple of my roommates to the MAS Observatory. It was a moonless night, so it would be a shame not to take advantage of it. I took out the ZWO Seestar S50 and tried out the new mosaic mode. I also used the club's two Unistellar evScopes. Since I don't have much time, let me get straight to it.
Triangulum has quickly become one of my favorite things to image in the winter night sky. Just earlier this day, Seestar finally released mosaic mode. This allows me to take much larger pictures by stitching them together in the Seestar app. I will eventually try to get one of the Andromeda Galaxy to prove this point, but this works for now.
Since it was so dark, we tried to get some pictures of the Veil Nebulas. They are very dim objects; thus, these have to be done on moonless nights. This one turned out quite well since it was on the evScope 2, which has a much higher resolution sensor. The only gripe I have is the bright star in the center, but there is little to be done about that.
This picture was taken on the evScope 1. It clearly has a lower quality, but it is cool nonetheless. It is rare to go out and get this many observations in one night, but I was able to pull it off. I don't know when I will update this website again, but this was quite enjoyable. I do have a little bit of a plan over winter break. I may or may not be able to get a video of the I.S.S. I will leave it at that for now.
Please contact me at rickyhillzero@gmail.com if you have any interest in these photos. Normally I have much more than is shown here, but it has been quite sparse for observations lately.
